RALEIGH - Three local animal groups will be holding a benefit auction to help raise money for animal rescue efforts.

Best Friend Pet Adoption, Snowflake Animal Rescue, and Marley's Cat Tales join forces for their "Auction for Animals" which will be held Saturday, April 21st at 5pm at the Raleigh Auction Gallery at 4900-A Craftsman Drive.

"Teamwork and a united front will enable us to serve more animals and we look forward to raising $20,000 to be split among our groups to help us continue our efforts," said Carol deOlloqui, Marley's Cat Tales Director.

The three rescue groups have collected over 207 items from local businesses and community patrons for the last several months and are expecting a large turnout at the event. Items include furniture, electronics, collectibles, artwork, pet items and much more. All of the items can be viewed beforehand at raleighauction.com.
