::Police Say Man Shot In Leg Over Cigarette

RALEIGH - According to Durham Police, a man was evidently shot when another man evidently did not receive a cigarette and money from the victim.
Durham Police say the shooting took place on Hedgerow Place at Old Farm Park on March 19th and they now have a composite drawing of the suspect available to the public.
Police say the incident happened when a 21 year old man was in the park trying to repair his vehicle at around 2:15pm.
Police say that another man approached him and asked for money and a cigarette.
The suspect pulled out a gun and afterwards, the victim turned and started to run, but the suspect shot the victim in the leg. Police did not release the victim's name.
The suspect is pictured at right and is described by police as a black male, 20 to 23 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with short hair. Police say he also had a beard and a mustache and a scar under his left eye.
