::Two Bodies Found Off Capital Boulevard

RALEIGH - The Raleigh Police Department has released little information in the case, but the department announced on Tuesday night that a body was found off of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh in a wooded area.
In statements made on Wednesday, Raleigh Police are now saying that there were the remains of two people found at the site.
In addition, police also say that there was an area where there was a fire, although it is not clear if the bodies were burned or if the area was used for cooking or a campfire.
Raleigh Police say they are waiting for more details from further investigations.
According to police, they received a deceased person call on Tuesday and officers responded at around 6:45pm.
Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said that officers searched in the 2200 block of Capital Boulevard and found "human remains" in the woods.
Police did not say how long they believed the individuals found had been at the location or how the body was discovered.
The department also did not say if the case was being investigated as a homicide at this time.
However, the department said that the crime scene had been secured and that an investigation had been initiated. ::
