::Police Arrest Video Store Robbery Suspect

RALEIGH - According to Raleigh Police, they have arrested a suspect in connection with two robberies of the Pleasant Valley Road Blockbuster video store in just two days on March.
The Raleigh Police Department said yesterday that they arrested Ricco Dane Robertson, age 20, and has charged him with three counts of armed robbery.
Robertson is charged with robbing the Erwin Oil Co. convenience store at 6712 Glenwood Ave. on March 16 and with robbing the Blockbuster Video store at 4112 Pleasant Valley Road on March 24 and March 27. He was arrested last night at 3934 Haresnipe Ct., where he resided.
The department says that the same suspect robbed a gas station.
Police say that Robertson is also being charged with robbing the Erwin Oil Company Exxon convenience store at 6712 Glenwood Ave. on March 16th.
Police say that shortly before noon on Friday March 16th, the suspect entered an Exxon gas station at 6712 Glenwood Avenue and then showed a knife and robbed the store.
Police also say that before 11am on Saturday March 24th, the suspect entered the Blockbuster video store at 4112 Pleasant Valley Road and produced a knife before robbing the store.
Evidently, he returned to the scene of the crime again. Police say that shortly before midnight on Monday March 26th the store was robbed again by the suspect who brandished a gun and then robbed the store.
